Cookies — Winspirit

Which we use

First-party session cookies — used to remember whether you have dismissed the cookie banner and to store the chosen language if more than one is available. These expire when you close the browser or within 30 days, whichever is first. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting pixels. We do not use any cookie that would allow us or a third party to recognise you across different sites. If you clear your cookies you will see the banner on your next visit and your language choice will reset to the default.

Changes

If we add or remove a cookie, this page is updated with the date of the change and a short note explaining what the new cookie does and how long it lives. A material change (new category of cookie, new processor) also triggers a fresh consent banner on your next visit so that your previous choice does not carry over. Previous versions of this page are kept for one year and are available on request from the privacy e-mail.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text string that a site writes to your browser so that the next request from the same browser can be recognised. Cookies are set by the site you visit (first-party) or by other sites whose code is embedded in the page (third-party). Modern browsers let you inspect and delete cookies from the privacy settings panel; most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely with a single toggle. Blocking cookies does not break this site; the banner will just reappear on every visit and your language choice will reset to the default on each page load. If you use a private or incognito browsing window, every cookie written during that session is discarded when the window closes, which effectively opts you out of all tracking for the duration of that visit. Our analytics provider aggregates data at the day level and does not combine sessions across devices, so there is no persistent profile of your reading history on this site.
