About Us

What this site is

This site is an independent review project about Winspirit, written for players from Canada. We are not the operator and we do not take deposits, process payouts or hold funds for anyone. Our job is to describe the current bonus terms, payment methods, mobile app and sign-up flow in enough detail that a reader can decide for themselves whether the offer fits them. If a figure on the operator's page changes we re-check and re-publish; if the licence or payment list changes, we update the relevant section the same week. Every number on the site is traceable back to a public source, and nothing on this site should be read as an endorsement to play. Readers are always encouraged to compare against the operator's own live page before making any decision. The project was launched because the existing coverage of Canadian-facing operators was dominated by sites that reused each other's text and shared the same bonus tables without re-checking the numbers. We wanted a single place where every claim could be traced to its source, where the author's name was attached to the review, and where the editorial choices were visible rather than hidden behind a glossy template. Three years later that is still the goal, and the number of corrections we publish each month is a better indicator of how we're doing than the number of pages — if we don't catch anything in a thirty-day window, we assume we were not looking carefully enough and go back through the archive to re-check figures from the top.

Who writes

The site is run by a small editorial team led by our Games and Live Casino Analyst. Every page carries a byline and the date of the last review. Freelance contributions are read end-to-end by the editor before publication; we don't accept guest posts, we don't swap links and we don't publish anonymous reviews. The team has a combined fifteen years of experience in online gambling coverage across Europe and North America. If you want to know more about a specific author, use the editorial team page linked in the footer — each author profile lists their background, their areas of focus and the pieces they have most recently written. We answer e-mails personally and sign them with a real name, not a shared alias.

What we cover

We cover five areas related to Winspirit: the welcome bonus and any no-deposit offer that is actually available at the time of writing, free-spin promotions and their wagering requirements, the deposit and withdrawal methods available to Canadian players with realistic processing windows, the Android and iOS apps including version numbers and install notes, and the registration and login flow with KYC expectations. Sports betting pages exist where the operator runs a sportsbook. Pages that are genuinely in-scope — bonuses, payments, app, registration, promo codes, deposit and withdrawal, online casino, sports betting — carry a review date. Pages we don't cover (odds comparison, specific match tips, individual slot strategy) are explicitly omitted rather than filled with boilerplate: a short directory is better than a long one full of empty entries.

How we work

Every review starts on the operator's own pages and the licence disclosure, not on marketing copy. We open the live bonus terms, read the wagering requirement, maximum bet during wagering, excluded games and withdrawal cap, and copy the exact figures into our tables. Where the operator publishes method-by-method payout times, we use those; where it doesn't, we mark the window as a working range based on the processor's typical speeds. Pages are reviewed on a rolling monthly cycle. For the app pages we download the APK from the operator's own download link, record version number and file size, and reinstall after any update. For KYC coverage we rely on the publicly stated verification steps, since we don't publish screenshots of personal documents. Where our view differs from the operator's description, the difference is noted in the editor's comment at the bottom of the page.
